Air Jordan 3 Fire Red A Handful of WEEKS AGO, the folks at Matrox invited me out to San Francisco for a sneak peek at their nextgeneration graphics chip. Offered Matrox's extended absence from the higher end of the Jordan 3 Fire Red graphics market, I wasn't pretty positive what to expect. But I knew one particular factor: the people who had to endure through marketing HeadCasting and endless, painstaking positioning moves with products like the G450 and G550 have been much additional upbeat this time about. So I anticipated great things. As the presentation unfolded, it became apparent Matrox is making a really serious bid to get back into the 3D graphics game. This chip, named Parhelia, has specs sturdy sufficient to make a new GF4 Ti 4600 owner quake with envy, Jordan 3 Fire Red 2013 and much more importantly, it has a laundry list of attributes longer than a GF4 Ti 4600 reference card. Matrox has been functioning on this beast for two years now, and it shows. Among the highlights: 512 bits of internal bandwidth, quad vertex shaders, quad pixel shaders, a 256bit memory bus providing 20GB/s of memory bandwidth, 10bitperchannel color, fragment antialiasing with 16X sampling, and assistance for up to three displays.
